Item Description
An Impressive English Elm Dining Table with 8cm thick, Single Plank Top. The massive scale of this table is visually stunning with it's substantial base supporting a literal 'slice' of the tree trunk it was made from. Well constructed using traditional joinery methods of using wooden blocks set into the frieze to hold the top, this table has accrued pleasant colour and patina after some 50 years of use. English, circa 1980.
