Item Description
A large late 17th Century Italian ebonised fruitwood (probably pear) graduated cushion mirror.
With an abundance of various carved mouldings including ripple, wave and basket weave, surrounding a wonderfully foxed mercury glass plate. A fabulous example of a rare and early mirror.
Decoration refreshed in parts with historic minor repairs as to be expected from a piece of this age.
