A striking matched pair of monumental American Art Deco hanging lanterns, each rising an impressive 43 inches. Originally created for the grand entrance of a hotel or public building, these lanterns showcase the bold geometry and refined ornamentation of the era. Constructed from brass pipe sections with ornate floral panels and finished with opaline glass plates, they retain their original two way bulb holders and have been freshly re wired for modern use. A superb and highly decorative example of authentic American Art Deco lighting.

Overall, these lights are in highly presentable condition, especially considering their age and years of use. As expected with original period metalwork, some areas show natural tarnishing and wear, which sits comfortably with their authenticity. The frames remain solid and secure, with no movement or structural loss. The opaline glass plates slide out smoothly, and each lantern has been recently rewired for modern use with three core flex cable.
