The One Off Chair Company is a partnership between antique dealer Claire Langley, and upholsterer Alan Watson. We both have a passion for chairs and good design, and after many years of working together have decided to join forces and pool our collective knowledge.
Our aim is to offer a diverse and individual range of chairs and sofas – from 18th century Georgian classics, through to 60’s/ 70’s retro, and the smooth contemporary lines of today.
All our pieces are restored and upholstered to the highest quality, using only traditional materials and time trusted methods. We also offer a bespoke service with everything made to the same exacting standards.
Whilst some pieces are fully upholstered, others will be available in an un-upholstered state – stripped back to the basic frame – so you can choose your own fabric. We are able to supply any fabric of your choice and have a wide range of pattern books to choose from.
