A very pleasing side profile portrait of a female and what appears to be a greek warrior, likely to be Penthesilea.
On paper pen and ink, executed in the manner of early 19th century spencerian, calligraphy work. House in a later ebonised frame.
Age related discolouration, foxing to the paper along with creasers and light marks.
Mid 19th Century in age 18/14cm
