Item Description
A charming folk art pen, ink and watercolour collection of sketch's of Native Oceania individuals, beasts and sailors. Likely to be of been penned in Papua New Guinea as the male tribe member has what appears to be a bone through his nose.
This to me looks like a page from a sailors sketchbook
Age related discolouration and fading, with some small areas of loss around the edges of the paper.
Later housed in a period glazed scumble painted frame with gilt slip.
