Item Description
A fantastic collection of pinned butterflies & moths specimens housed is the largest I've seen faux book box, constructed in pine with its original stained finish.
Age related wear, minimal loses to the specimens as one would expect, foxing to the inner papered areas. The majority of the specimens are very late 19th century too early 20th century
The box can be displayed opened on a table top, or hung fully open on a wall.
when open the box is 68cm in width, 45cm in height, 4.5cm in depth
