Item Description

A good quality condition and richly toned Ecclesiastical figural stained glass window circa 1890 from the studio of Clayton & Bell.

This spectacular late 19th century stained glass panel detail titled 'Christ in St Joseph’s Workshop’ - Christ is shown seated and holding a file with St Joseph standing to the centre holding a saw, while Mary is seated to the left observing their work.

Clayton and Bell were a prominent English stained glass firm known for their high-quality work during the Victorian era and this panel is a perfect reflection of this.

In a quality size it is presented in a complementing frame ready to be featured where it can be flooded with daylight and the scene is brought to life.
