A large Georgian wrought iron strapwork garden gate with x-frame design, circa 1800.
Though more than 225 years old, this antique gate is a charming piece for any outdoor space with its simple strapwork style and timeworn character.
It will look beautiful as a pedestrian gate alongside an old garden wall, as well as at the entrance to the front path of a Georgian period townhouse.
CONDITION REPORT
Good structural condition. Traces of old paint and light surface rust. Original working latch. Original hinge eyes (no pins present). A slight twist across the gate; this shouldn't affect its use.
