Item Description

A vibrant mythological themed stained glass window depicting a red dragon from the workshops of British stained-glass artist, Sax Shaw.

Beautifully made using glass in shades of red, green, blue and purple, this contemporary stained glass window panel centres around a great dragon with long, coiling tail, great wings and vivid green eyes.

It will make a striking feature piece in any property, the colours bringing a room to life when flooded with daylight.

SAW SHAW (1916-2000)

Yorkshire-born watercolour, tapestry and stained glass artist, Sax Roland Shaw, studied at Huddersfield before moving permanently to Scotland where he attended Edinburgh College of Art.

During his career, Shaw became one of Britain’s most influential post-war stained glass artists. Examples of his work can be found in churches across Scotland including St Mary’s in Sidegate, East Lothian and Hyndland Parish Church, Glasgow.
