H.O.N. INTERIORS is short for the House of Nico.
Nicholas is a young and inspiring contemporary furniture designer based in Norfolk. He will soon be moving his studio prototyping workshop to London so that he can better meet and work with Designers and clients there., but production will remain in Norfolk.
House of Nico Interiors is an emerging British brand founded by designer Nico Payne during his final year at Central Saint Martins. With a degree in Product and Industrial Design, Nico brings both academic rigour and hands-on industry experience to his work. With broad experiences in international design practice, first with Copenhagen-based Better Weather, and later with New York designer Kouros Maghsoudi.
The brand is built on a belief that furniture should celebrate traditional forms without being bound by them. Each piece is a balance of past and present—natural materials such as European oak left raw and expressive, shaped into functional forms with a distinctive character and all is hand built in England.
Looking ahead, Nico is quietly developing a broader range. Though still under wraps, the projects expands on the brand’s core ideas: traditional shapes, natural materials, and a modern sensibility, all crafted with care. Come join Nico on his journey and support a great new British brand.
