Item Description
As can be seen on the reverse of this 20th century painting, the name Celia Beckett is shown, handwritten on a piece of ahdered paper and also the surname scrawled on the back of the painting.
It could be Australian artist Celia Margaret A'Beckett Sklovsky (1915-2004) and the mountains in the background of this abstract portrait of three young girls, certainly alludes to that.
A very intriguing piece with vibrant colouring that very much highlights the girls themselves.
Of good scale at approx 123cm high x 92cm wide, it will certainly make an impression when hung and catch the visitors eye.
