A handsome piece of good proportions. The base is decoratively cast with a face to each side and held together with square nuts, as would be expected from a piece of this period. Later repainting, but this has been on long enough to age in nicely with the rest of the table. The original marble top is located in place with pins from the base and it has dulled nicely over the years. The top has a few small areas of marking and some chipping around the edges, esp. the corners but is generally clean and bright.
A quality antique table, perfectly useable - at home in the kitchen as it would be in the garden or conservatory. It measures 71cm high x 108cm wide x 62cm deep.
