This is a large vintage stick stand. An Oriental, ceramic decorative vase, dating to the Art Deco period, circa 1940.

Larger than average with attractive, colourful decor
Displays a desirable aged patina
Ceramic in good order with light crazing under close inspection
Generous mouth opening of 17.5cm (7") in diameter

Painted foliate decoration with an array of visiting insects from butterflies to bees
Border to both ends with a repeating flower pattern
Small pink flowers decorate the rim
Hand-written number 32 mark to base
