Georgian 19th Century mahogany chest of drawers.
This is a lovely chest, that is full of age and character.
A rare quality piece with clean simple lines. Solid mahogany top, thick veneer to sides and drawer fronts.
The oak lined drawers slide freely. We have no keys and the locks are consequently untested.
Overall maximum dimensions: 111cmW x 52cmD x 104cmH.
Historic knocks, marks, cracks, scratches, wear, imperfections, repairs and alterations, as is always the way and to be expected with genuine antique furniture. Replacement handles. Internal marks and stains to the drawers as is to be expected. There are a few historical woodworm holes, believed extinct, that we have treated for good measure. Some how on this item we omitted to photograph the sides and will add these when taken. The sides are fairly good, with some historic scratching (as is normal) and some repairs to their rear edges (as is common), but nothing very unsightly.
Please note that this item is large and heavy. Please make sure before buying that it will fit in and can be maneuvered into the room that it is intended for. The customer will need to provide 1 (more if an awkward route or stairs are involved) strong able bodied person for our driver to assist with carrying.
