Early 20th century English reverse painted tailor’s sign

A beautiful example of an early 20th Century English tailors sign, that measures around 6ft across. Reverse hand painted glass with carved pine text painted in gold gilded effect. Supported by an ebonised curved bottom section and showing some nice age.

Condition:
• In overall good condition
• Worn wooden surface with missing paint
• The inside glass edge is faded
• The frame is firm and solid but has some aged repairs as shown
• One inside has a fraction less glass fitted as shown
• The facia of the glass has aged against the black paint
