A very rare Queen Anne kneehole desk

A very rare Queen Anne, black and gilt Japanned kneehole desk. Constructed in oak, pine and pear wood, the desk is in remarkable condition and retains its original handles and Chinoiserie decoration, which depicts Oriental scenes, flowers and foliage. 750mm high, 850mm wide and 510mm deep. Circa 1710

There has been light restoration to the decoration on the ends and the cupboard door and the feet are old replacements, this work has been executed sensitively and expertly.
