Mid-20th Century Italian embossed silver plate bowl filled with a collection of eight semi-precious stone and glass grape clusters, mounted with metal vine leaves and stems.
The richly decorated repoussé bowl is ornamented with trailing vines and grape motifs and displays appealing age-related wear and patina, enhancing its decorative Mid Century character. The collection comprises: * 2 amethyst grape bunches * 3 rose quartz grape bunches * 1 green serpentine grape bunch * 1 brown carnelian grape bunch * 1 green glass grape bunch.
A highly decorative and sculptural centrepiece with beautiful colour variation, ideal for a dining table, console or kitchen display. Circa 1960-1970.
