Item Description
An 18th Century George III Period Mahogany Three-Tier Dumb Waiter
A beautiful classic and elegant late 18th century George III Period mahogany dumb waiter or circular side table having the most superb original untouched finish with a wealth of deep rich colour and patina. With 3 graduated dished tiers of various sizes adjoined by a tapering coloumn and terminating on a triform base with pad feet and original brass castors, English Georgian furntiure at its best, circa 1780.
Turned legs that gently taper down to a tripod of elegant pad feet, a hallmark of Georgian design. Solid joints and sturdy construction, ensuring the table is ready for immediate use in your home.
Its versatile proportions and the quality of the timber make it suitable as a serving table or an occasional side table. The solid mahogany can stand freely in a room or be placed against a wall, making it a highly adaptable piece for any interior.
