A fine pair of early 20th-century Edwardian period mahogany and leather library club armchairs, upholstered in a green-brown leather. A square moulded backrest, arm supports and a generous seat. The backs, sides, armrest and loose cushion all upholstered in leather. The leather upholstery is complemented by brass nail-head trim around the borders. Featuring a high square back, closed sides, and shaped arms, these chairs offer a wide, comfortable seat on a solid mahogany frame, standing on elegant reeded fluted legs. Both armchairs are in superb original condition, with no repairs, showcasing a stunning untouched colour and luxurious comfort. The seat height is 46 cm. A truly remarkable and inviting pair for any refined setting.
