A large cast‑iron factory clock by the renowned electrical firm Gents of Leicester, c.1930.
A striking and substantial example, presented in wonderfully time‑worn condition with layers of old black over‑paint. The one‑piece cast‑iron case features raised numerals and retains all the presence expected of early industrial Gents clocks. The iconic arrowed hands now run on a high‑torque quartz movement for modern reliability while preserving the original aesthetic.
NOTE: all 3 fixing lugs should be used when securing to a wall.
