Item Description
An early 20th‑century industrial inspection lamp by Enbeeco, c.1930.
A wonderfully engineered piece of British workshop lighting, built around a cast‑iron base and a curved steel arm carrying both the lamp head and an adjustable magnifying lens which can be set precisely for close work. The chrome‑finish to the main arm and splayed legs shows honest age and use. Brass plaque under base embossed with the maker's mark.
Designed for bench‑top inspection, repair work or fine assembly, it’s a practical and sculptural example of early industrial task lighting equally suited for use an everyday desk lamp.
