A gorgeous pair of large 19th Century French 'bergeres' or armchairs. Hand carved wooden frames and upholstered in the stylish 'deconstructed' manner. The backs and armrests covered with old vintage French blue and white checked fabric - while the fronts have been left with the stitched hessian and a nice squashy seat cushion - style and comfort combined - the best! Circa 1860.
