Brutalist Solid Oak Sideboard With Hand-Forged Iron Hardware

Impressive large Brutalist sideboard in solid oak, dating from circa the 1970s. A substantial statement piece with beautiful craftsmanship and a strong Belgian/Flemish character.

The cabinet features four doors, with the two central doors richly decorated with deeply carved geometric panels. The outer doors have a more restrained plank construction and are fitted with striking black hand-forged iron strap hinges and hardware.

The warm oak grain, architectural construction and oversized proportions give this sideboard a powerful presence. At 220 cm wide, it is particularly suited to a large dining room, living room, country house or hospitality interior.
