Large Art Deco Style Beveled Wall Mirror With Architectural Arch Design

A striking large decorative wall mirror with a strong Art Deco-inspired architectural design, combining a beautifully aged metallic frame with elaborate applied bevelled mirror details.

The central mirror plate is surrounded by a highly decorative arrangement of individually cut and bevelled mirrored sections, creating the appearance of a classical architectural doorway or arch. Long vertical mirrored strips rise from the lower corners and continue into an elegant rounded arch, punctuated by geometric rectangular and trapezoid-shaped mirror elements.

The extensive bevelled edges catch and reflect the light beautifully, adding depth and dimension while giving the mirror a sophisticated jewel-like quality. The contrast between the crisp geometric mirrored decoration and the narrow, intentionally aged silver/gold-toned frame gives the piece plenty of character.

Its tall proportions and strong symmetrical composition make this a particularly impressive statement mirror. At 116 cm high, it has enough presence to work beautifully above a console, fireplace or chest of drawers, but could equally be used as an elegant hallway, bedroom or dressing-room mirror.
