A Pair of Oak Glazed Bookcases C1920 By Minty Oxford
A rather handsome pair of English oak glazed library bookcases by Minty of Oxford C1920. From a large period property in the Home Counties, these are of lovely design and quality with the panelled lower section sitting on well turned legs and with the leaded glass oak framed top section both opening by way of a pair of doors both with original little brass knobs.
The English oak is of a pleasing tone and grain with some pleasing on the eye moulding and details on the pair. We have a maker's label to both bookcases to the inside of the top door and the bookcases sit well.
