A Quality Art Deco Birds Eye Maple Cabinet C1930s
Super quality and classic Art Deco design, we have a birds eye maple cabinet/cupboard in lovely original condition with the bonus of a working lock and key. It is of sensible proportions and would fit into so many spaces in a period home or modern apartment.
We have gentle, handsome hints of the deco period with this piece: the gentle shape to the top matched with the doors, a band of walnut to the edging - the top matched with one at the bottom, a lovely inverted plinth of birds eye maple tucked under this at the base, a very smart coloured interior, smart long handles and the original period escutcheon with working lock and key.
Condition is highly original with light historic wear and very little fading to the timbers. We have ensured the cabinet is clean and ready for placing.
