Pair of Walnut Bedside Cabinets C1930s
A super pair of antique figured walnut bedside cabinets. They were made in England, and they date from around the late 1930’s early 40s.
They are of good quality and are of a very useful size. The walnut is figured with interesting grain patterns and a lovely tone. They sit on short cabriole legs with shell carving at the knees to the front legs, the front edges are canted and they have raised back galleries. There is plenty of storage space inside the cabinets and drawers, which have lovely pierced brass handles. The tops have glass covers. Condition is good, expect light day to day use and marks.
A good pair of fine looking bedside cabinets.
