Item Description
A beautiful Expressionist painting of leopards by Henry Sanders. Henry Sanders ( Helmut Salomon) was born into a Jewish family in Germany. in 1933, he left for Holland and then England where he studied at Hornsey College of Art under Russell Reeve and John Moody. He exhibited at the Redfern Gallery and Roland Browse and Delbaco. The Ben Uri collection in London holds his work. The canvas is damaged on the edges and is missing its linen ribbon tape but the actual canvas in in good condition with minor surface scratches and paint loss. It has been framed with a contemporary gold frame.
