Item Description
Superb George III mahogany chest on chest c.1800. In two sections with two short drawers over six long drawers of graduated height. Slim flared and moulded cornice with a carved dentil frieze. Mahogany veneered drawer fronts with cockbeaded edges and retaining the original brass swan neck handles. Ogee mouldings to the waist and base. Raised on tall bracket feet front and rear. Superior quality with solid mahogany sides and oak drawer linings. Fabulous original colour and excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
