Item Description
Unusual late 19th.c. oak side table with shelves c.1870. Useful small size, just 39" wide. Raised back with a pronounced shaped and moulded edge to the top and sides, carrying two shallow serpentine shaped shelves of graduated depth (max 4½" & 7½"). Over quite a high table top (height 39") with moulded edges and single drawer below. Raised on fine turned and twist carved legs front and rear joined with a stretcher shelf and also with low side stretchers. Lovely colour to the timber and excellent condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
