Item Description
Pair of late 19th.c. French marble top bedside drawer pedestals c.1890. Grey marble tops over twin pedestals featuring a single drawer in the top over fall front cabinets (the second and third drawer fronts being dummies) plus three more working drawers below. Highly figured burr amboyna veneers to the drawer fronts with rosewood mouldings and turned knobs. Oak drawer linings. Amboyna and rosewood veers to the sides and rear, polished all round. Raised mouldings, shaped and moulded apron around the base, carved feet front and rear. Excellent colour and condition, restored cleaned and waxed in our workshops.
