Item Description
Early 19th.c. North Wales oak cloak or tack cupboard c.1810. Two door cupboard top (internal depth 17") fitted inside with 9 original wooden hooks plus a later brass hanging rail. Separate base with four drawers of graduated height (the top row of drawers are dummy fronts allowing extra hanging length inside the top). Moulded cornice over attractively shaped arched panelled doors, flanked with quarter columns at the front corners. Scratch carved detail to the drawer fronts with good brass handles swan neck handles with Georgian pattern backplates. Moulded trim at the waist and around the base. Raised on tall bracket feet. Oak panelled sides. Deal drawer linings and back panels. Excellent colour and condition, cleaned and waxed in our workshops. Key supplied.
