British Rail Platform Lantern ‘Nottingham’ Aged.

Made in England, this unique light is a testament to the superior craftsmanship of the Cooling & Cooling design team.

Using traditional techniques and methods, it is constructed by hand, with the high-quality components such as solid brass rivets, copper framework and brass nuts and bolts. It is available in 15 combinations of colours and designs of premium glass to add originality & modernity to this classic design. To further complement the pendant light, a handmade wall bracket is also available to order.

The light is further enhanced with a cast brass hook, a ceiling canopy, solid brass chain, and a spun copper gallery. It is available in two exterior finishes–polished and aged copper–and is wired using three-core braided antique-style cable.

Drawing inspiration from an archive piece that was used to light up the British rail network in the 1950s, this light is truly an example of the best materials and craftsmanship sourced using our extensive knowledge of antique lighting and is certainly built to last.

As a tribute to our new line of 15 lanterns, each one is named in honour of a beloved train station from around the country, these lamps are sure to add a touch of nostalgia & style.

Rewired & PAT tested.

Each light comes complete to hang with 1.5 x meters of cable, 1 x meter of brass chain & 1 x cast ceiling rose hook.
