Item Description
Victorian coopered beaker and tankard.
In untouched condition, the coopered beaker and Tankard are in great condition and expertly made.
Coopered oak using silver plate, which can be cleaned to produce a high shine, however we have chosen to leave them in untouched condition.
Both were presented for athletic prowess, in 1892 from Wiggleswick School. The tapered beaker for first prize in the under 16 quarter mile and the tapered tankard also for first prize in the under 16 long jump.
Sold together.
Beaker 16.5 cm H x 10 cm W and D rim x 8.5 cm W and D base.
Tankard 13.5 cm H x 10 cm W ( to include the top of the handle) 6.5 cm W and D rim x 9 cm W and D base
