A handsome late 19th Century French bleached walnut gueridon of elegant proportions.
Retaining it's original circular white and grey veined marble top above a finely turned and fluted pedestal support. The substantial tripod base is beautifully carved with bold scrolling details and finely executed lion’s paw feet, reflecting the quality craftsmanship of the period. The soft bleached finish enhances the natural warmth and grain of the walnut, lending the piece a fresh, contemporary feel while preserving its classical Victorian character. The richly figured marble provides a striking contrast and offers a durable, practical surface.
