French provincial green glazed jugs. With two spouts and one handle, one for pouring and one for drinking, these French ‘gargoulette’ antique jugs were typically worn on the belt, providing refreshments during the day. French utilitarian water jugs like this were only partially glazed, as they were often stored in cool soil to maintain a low temperature. These have been partially glazed in a green colour making them a rarer find that the yellow pots. The price shown is for the pair.
