Item Description
Magnificent 19th century French gilt mirror in superb condition.
It came from a beautiful southern French villa.
It dates from around 1880.
It has its hugely ornate real gilt (gold leaf) on gesso frame with lots of floral and shell Louis XV detail .
Its heavy original glass has no scratches or foxing.
It has its lovely original oak panelled back.
Perfect freestanding leaner mirror or overmantel above a huge fireplace.
