Item Description
Circa 1880 with alterations. 19th century Sheraton-style inlaid mahogany breakfront bookcase. Surmounted by a cornice with chevron banding and a marquetry inlaid frieze, the 3 bookcase sections separated and flanked by simple pilasters and each containing 4 adjustable shelves, the centre section being deeper. All supported on a breakfront inlaid enclosed base. All in excellent condition. The gables with satinwood boxwood and ebony inlay.
