Item Description
Circa 1900. A carved gilded George I style mirror in the manner of ‘James Moore’. The top surmounted by an elegant scalloped shaped floral section flanked by two mythical birds, the gilded frame with classic Moore foliate carved gilded gesso. The mirror held in place by a stylish slip with pierced scrolling to the sides, the bottom with a carved cherub head, flanked by a pair of wings and the shaped sides and bottom gilded carved gesso. In excellent condition with great colour, style and patination.
