Circa 1800, the large dinner service by Chamberlains Worcester, in the Jabberwocky pattern, printed and enamelled decoration with gilt highlights; comprising: fifty-two dinner plates, 26.5cm wide; forty-one twiffler (medium sized) plates, 23cm diameter; twenty-four shallow bowls, 26.5cm diameter; two large tureens and covers on stands, tureens 36cm wide, 37.5cm wide; four
vegetable tureens with covers, 33cm wide; two small sauce tureens with covers and four stands, tureens 19.6cm wide, stands 22cm wide; an oblong dish raised on four feet, 31cm wide; two oval dishes, 23cm wide; three sauce boats, 20cm wide; seventeen graduated ashets of various sizes ranging from 25cm wide - 52cm wide; some pieces are unmarked, some are impressed, some have the painted pattern number 4141.
