Item Description
Circa 1800. A late George III mahogany and inlaid fold over tea table, the D shaped top in a wonderful flame mahogany with boxwood string inlay and banding, the hinged top opens to reveal the inside in wonderful un-faded rich mahogany with the brass hinges exposed, the frieze with a full-length drawer in fine mahogany, the inside of the drawer is fitted out and lined in ash, indicating that it could be Scottish, the table rests on four square tapering and inlaid legs, back legs are hinged and swing out to support the top when open, and all finishing on extended spade toes.
