Item Description
Philippe Starck and Denton Corker Marshall were commissioned to reinvent the Sanderson Hotel in the late 1990s and these iconic chairs were part of that project. Starck is renowned for his chair and seating design and these chairs are typical of his quirky signature style.
Please take a close look at all of our photographs to see the fantastic design details, from the swans' heads to the flowers around the base of the chairs. We are selling them with the original upholstery, please ask if you'd like quotes for re-covering in your choice of fabric.
We have a set of 6 of these chairs, but will happily sell them in pairs. Again - please get in touch for more information, if you'd like the whole set.
Starck's achievements have been well recognised with numerous awards, including Designer magazine's 2009 Lifetime Achievement Award.
The Sanderson Hotel is described as "a playground of bold design and social energy in a central spot between Fitzrovia and Soho."
