Circa 1790-1810s French toile panel 'La Danse Savoyarde' ManufacturerLeclerc & Fils of Pont-de-la-Maye with large scale motifs after the painter Greuze.In a soft rasberry red with some "flooding' and lightly quilted onto a coarse linen backing and afinished with a pretty scalloped hem.The white ground is a soft 'old white' with some faded staing here and there and at its hem.
