Item Description
A Regency period chaise longue with a RH arm rest.
Circa 1830
Crisply turned mahogany legs with the original brass gilt castors.
A beautiful & elegant design which is well associated with this period.
Length 163cm, Width 63cm, Height 89cm, with a seat width of 55cm, a seat length of 130cm and a seat height of 39cm.
The well made horsehair squab cushion has been fixed to the seat frame at some point, the squab could be separated and the seat pad reinstated if you prefer.
Probably by Miles & Edwards but the place where the stamp is usually find has been replaced at some point.
