Item Description
An Unusual, Decorative 18th Century Italian Painted Mirror of Good Size.
This mirror is in the neoclassical style and is painted throughout, even the gold colour is paint rather than gilding. The frieze has simulated fluting and paterae and there are lion masks on the pilasters. A vase or urn with baroque type handles, framed by torches is carved decoration which sits above the rectangular mirror plate. The colour scheme is of green, gold and grey.
A very interesting neoclassical piece.
