Item Description
A Small 19th Century English Regency Mahogany Sideboard.
With its twin pedestal design flanking a central back piece with a fretted heart design and curving pediment top, this small sideboard is unusual in its design. The central section has a convex shape and there are three small drawers set in to the frieze. The pedestals in turn each contain one deeper drawer and a cupboard section below. There are wrythen carved pilasters to the sides of each pedestal and the handles on the drawers of excellent quality. It has been inlaid throughout with contrasting stringing on the back piece and around the side of the top.
