This is an antique decorative flagon. An English, ceramic and silver art pottery jug by Arthur Barlow for Doulton, dating to the Victorian period, hallmarked 1871.
Of collector interest, Arthur Barlow (1845 - 1879) was resident at Doulton's Lambeth studio in the years 1871-1876, the flagon displaying his distinctive aesthetic.

Also displaying the Lion Rampant and the London assay office date letter Q for 1871
