This is an antique overmantle mirror. An Italian, triptych fireplace mirror, dating to the late Victorian period, circa 1900.

Of fine proportion, suitable to mount above a fireplace
Displays a desirable aged patina and in good order
Cream ground accentuated with attractive flourishes of gilt finish
Original mirror plates in good order with a desirable light foxing

Impressive, prominent crown moulding accentuated with bands of gilt patterns
Usefully sized oval central mirror framed by a pair of narrow plates
Quality bevelled glass presents a clear, bright reflection
Further distinguished with sash garland and scroll motif decor throughout
Dressed with pairs of brass hanging loops to rear for ease of wall mounting
