This is an antique spirits table. An English, burr maple and walnut decanter & glasses stand or teapoy, dating to the William IV period, circa 1835. An exceptional drawing room drinks stand of superb craftsmanship, and rich visual appeal.

Presents a desirable aged patina and in very good order
Crafted in burr maple and walnut with exceptional figuring
Gorgeous stocks present fine grain interest and warm caramel hues
Dashing circular top with a refined tapered drum form

Hinged lid opens to a velvet lined interior in rich plum
Tasteful brocade trim accentuates the interior circumference
Pleasingly deep interior, ideal for storing tumblers or glasses
Flat top well suited for presenting a decanter of favourite spirits

Dressed with an inset brass-lined lock — in working order, key present
Prominent lobed detail adorns the apron circumference
Striking twist form support, catching the light beautifully
Standing upon a trio of cabriole legs with bold slipper feet
